چکیده

Pollution of waterways is increasing geometrically on daily basis and this becoming a serious threat to human health, aquatic ecosystems aquaculture, these pollutions mostly include heavy metals. These metals pose danger due their high ability bio accumulation magnifications along the food chain. Thus, aim research work determine efficiency Tea Leaves Fibre as adsorbents in removal Cu2+ from aqueous solutions. From analysis, show above 97% Cu2+during treatment waste water. The used solution shows its distinctive property good adsorbents; hence tea fibre leaves may be water containing Cu2+.

Isolation of An Aroma Precursor of Benzaldehyde from Tea Leaves (Camellia sinensis var. sinensis cv. Yabukita).

The cyanoglycoside, prunasin, was isolated for the first time as an aroma precursor of benzaldehyde from fresh tea leaves (Camellia sinensis var. sinensis cv. Yabukita). Prunasin was readily hydrolyzed by a crude enzyme prepared from the fresh tea leaves to liberate benzaldehyde. The isomerization of prunasin under neutral conditions was also recognized.

Hypotriacylglycerolemic and antiobesity properties of a new fermented tea product obtained by tea-rolling processing of third-crop green tea (Camellia sinensis) leaves and loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) leaves.

We manufactured a new fermented tea by tea-rolling processing of third-crop green tea (Camellia sinensis) leaves and loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) leaves. The mixed fermented tea extract inhibited pancreatic lipase activity in vitro, and effectively suppressed postprandial hypertriacylglycerolemia in rats. Rats fed a diet containing 1% freeze-dried fermented tea extract for 4 weeks had a signifi...

Adsorption kinetics of Rhodamine-B on used black tea leaves

Rhodamine B (Rh-B) is one of the most common pollutants in the effluents of textile industries effluents in developing countries. This study was carried out to evaluate the applicability of used black tea leaves (UBTL) for the adsorptive removal of Rh-B from aqueous system by investigating the adsorption kinetics in batch process. The effects of concentration and temperature on adsorption kinet...

Accumulation and distribution of aluminium and other elements in tea (Camellia sinensis) leaves

Tea plants (Camellia sinensis) are well known for their ability to accumulate high concentrations of aluminium (Al). Aluminium distribution in tea leaves has been previously estimated on a qualitative basis using energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis (EDXMA). However, no comprehensive studies have been carried out to quantitatively determine the distribution of Al, especially in young leaves wh...

Elucidation of Differential Accumulation of 1-Phenylethanol in Flowers and Leaves of Tea (Camellia sinensis) Plants.

1-Phenylethanol (1PE) is a major aromatic volatile in tea (Camellia sinensis) flowers, whereas it occurs in a much smaller amounts in leaves. Enzymes involved in the formation of 1PE in plants and the reason why 1PE differentially accumulates in plants is unknown. In the present study, enzymes in the last step leading from acetophenone to 1PE were isolated from tea flowers by traditional bioche...
